Act Like A Ladi: Dress Like A Diva: Wedge Sneakers
As an (early) birthday present to myself, I bought two pair of shoes- a pair of black combat boots and a pair of wedge sneakers!
I know in the blog world there are mixed feelings about wedge sneakers, but as a former teenage sneakerhead, I love them! They are super comfortable and I love having a little extra height from the hidden wedge while the shoes just appear to be regular high top sneakers. I stepped out of my comfort zone by getting the gray/blue colorway instead of the basic black, but my closet is full of neutral colors so I'm sure I will be wearing these quite a bit!

Shoe Lust
I may have an addiction...
It seems I can't go more than a month without getting a new pair of shoes. I always get a good deal and I try to get shoes that I will actually wear (instead of having them sit in the black of my closet) but no matter how I rationalize it, I got it bad y'all...I love shoes!

I was itching to get some new shoes this week so I started browsing my favorite shoe websites (Endless, DSW, Aldo, 6pm) and Shopstyle to comparison shop for best prices. I narrowed down to a few pairs that I liked and here are some of the hottest (and pretty affordable) styles:

Summer-Ready Flats (on a Budget!)
I love heels and wedges, but I have a soft spot in my heart for flats. They are so comfortable, are appropriate for work or play, and I've been wearing them ever since I was a kid :) As much as I love flats, I have to admit that I don't want to pay a lot of money for them. If I'm going to spend over $50 for a shoe, it has to make me feel tall and sexy (stilettos!), but when I'm going for a cute, classy or retro look, my go-to is a nice affordable ballet flat. Shoe designers have taken the basic flat shoe and jazzed them up with neons, florals, and geometric prints to create summer-ready styles that are right on trend. Here are my favorite flats under $50:

Summer is "Pedicure Season" and what better way to show off your nail polish and give your toes some breathing room than a cute, flat sandal?
